COAT - conditions atmosphériques d‘espace - is a vienna-based Art and Architecture Studio, founded by Julia Fraolini (FRA) und Felix Steinbacher (GER). Through experimental and atmospheric spatial approaches, their work explores the relation between Architecture and Society as well as the the implicit contemporary challenges arising from it.

The practice's focus lies in investigating architecture's potential in shaping socio-cultural phenomena through experimental re-interpretation of archetypal conditions. Both individuals and collectives are encouraged to re-evaluate habits, ways of living, and their relationship to the shared environment. Through their projects, spatial and architectural narratives are redefined and conventional ways of thinking are challenged.
